The directions to the Society’s waters are all from the Bus terminus at the junction of Shrigley Road, Ingersley Road and Palmerston Street.
Travel along Palmerston Street until you come to the traffic lights by the canal bridge. Turn right at the lights going up the hill and bear left round the back of the mill. Parking is available at the junction of the two roads and the pool is situated at the top of the right hand road. A key is needed to access the pool.
Travel along Palmerston Street through Bollington for about 1 mile you will see the Co-operative Late Shop on your right hand side. Turn right into Albert road and park at the bottom outside the mill. Access to the pool is through the mill yard and the Pool is situated at the rear of the mill. Due to Lowerhouse mill security Lowerhousepool is only open from 08:00 - 16:00 weekdays and closed Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.
Directions are the same as for Lowerhouse and access is from the pool. Fishing is from the weir for 4 fields 2 above the road to the Waste Disposal Site and 2 below. Please note that all trout must be returned to the water.
Proceed through Bollington towards Macclesfied, just before the Silk Road roundabout turn left into Clarke Lane proceed along the road over the canal bridge the pools are at Moat House Farm which is on the right hand side. Go along the track through the farm making sure you close the gates. The first pool is on the left hand side of the track by the stile. The second pool is through the gate to the field in front of you. Both pools have old signs on them that say Robinson Anglers
